27. James Ward⁶ Knox (James Ward⁵, William⁴, James³, John², Mr.¹) was born in Peoria, IL 2 April 1855. James died 1914 in Tacoma, Pierce, WA, at 59 years of age.

He married Bessie Fuller Abt 1875. Bessie was born in New London, CT 15 April 1856. Bessie died 2 Oct 1921 in Tacoma, Pierce, WA, at 65 years of age.

James's occupation: Mayor Puyallup, Pierce, WA, 1891. He moved 1896 Puyallup, Pierce, WA.

James Ward Knox and Bessie Fuller had the following children:

+ 34 i. James Ward⁷ Knox was born May 1877.

35 ii. Elizabeth (Bessie) Miller Knox was born in Kansas November 1878. She married Harry Walker.

36 iii. Jane (Jack) Anne Knox was born Puyallup, Pierce, WA May 1882. She resided in Tacoma, Pierce, WA 1920, 909 S. Eleventh Street.

37 iv. Sarah (Sadie) Miller Knox was born Puyallup, Pierce, WA May 1885. Sarah died 13 January 1920 at 34 years of age. She married Herbert Grant DeQuincy Sewell in Tacoma, Pierce, WA, April 1912.
