9. John Clifford⁴ Wyatt (Andrew John³, John², Mr.¹)⁽¹⁸⁹⁾ was born in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE 11 January 1885.⁽¹⁹⁰⁾ In the 1910 Census, he is 25 years old and lives with his parents. John died 9 December 1943 in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE, at 58 years of age. His body was interred 14 December 1943 in Harrington, Kent County, DE, Hollywood.⁽¹⁹¹⁾

He married Bertha Emily Hammond. Bertha was born 23 November 1893.⁽¹⁹²⁾ Bertha was the daughter of William Edward Hammond and Mary Emily Bright. Bertha died 6 February 1954 in Milford, Kent County, DE, at 60 years of age. Her body was interred 10 February 1954 in Harrington, Kent County, DE, Hollywood.⁽¹⁹³⁾

He was baptized in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE, 5 January 1886. Religion: Methodist Episcopal.⁽¹⁹⁴⁾ He resided in Mispillion Hundred, Kent County, DE 2 January 1920.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ The family resided on the Masten's Corner to Hollandsville Road.

John Clifford Wyatt and Bertha Emily Hammond had the following children:

22 i. Emma Angeline⁵ Wyatt was born in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE 9 May 1916.⁽¹⁹⁶⁾ She is 4 years old in the 1920 Census. Emma died 10 August 1998 at 82 years of age. She married Leighton Paynter Jefferson. Leighton died 1984. (See Leighton Paynter Jefferson for the continuation of this line.)

23 ii. Mary Magdeline Wyatt⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ was born 19 May 1916. Mary died 1916 at less than one year of age.

24 iii. Jeanette Elma Wyatt (still alive).

25 iv. Edna Wyatt was born 17 April 1920.⁽¹⁹⁸⁾ Edna died Abt 1956. She married William Berryhill.

26 v. Cora Wyatt (still alive).

27 vi. Ruth Emily Wyatt (still alive).
