2. Wilbert² Sherwood (David¹) was born in Delaware 28 Apr 1888. Wilbert died May 1970 in Felton, Kent County, DE, at 82 years of age.⁽⁹⁹⁾

He married Blanche Bernard in Delaware, Aft 1910. In the 1910 Census, she is single and living at home.

Blanche was born in Delaware Oct 1891. Blanche was the daughter of Joseph Bernard and Louisa Wyatt. Blanche died 1960 in Delaware, at 68 years of age. Wilbur and Blanche had a farm. As their marriage fell apart, they literally divided the house down the center. The situation was so bad that each of them had their own set of condiments at the table.

Wilbur believed that as long as he left a loaf of bread on the table, Blanche could not divorce him and take half the property.

Wilbert Sherwood and Blanche Bernard had the following children:

4 i. Mildred³ Sherwood was born on (birth date unknown).

5 ii. Robert Sherwood was born on (birth date unknown).

6 iii. Ralph Sherwood was born on (birth date unknown).

7 iv. Wilbert Buddy Sherwood was born in Delaware 2 Jan 1912. Wilbert died 18 Jan 1968 in Delaware, at 56 years of age. Wilbert served in the military.

8 v. Clyde Sherwood was born in Delaware 23 May 1914. Clyde died 7 Feb 1915 in Delaware, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Delaware, Wyatt Cemetery.
