Louisa was born in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE 27 Nov 1861.⁽³⁾ Louisa was the daughter of John Wyatt and Angeline Minner. Louisa died 4 March 1937 in Harrington, Kent County, DE, at 75 years of age.⁽⁴⁾ Her body was interred Aft 4 Mar 1937 in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE, Wyatt Cemetery.⁽⁵⁾ Wyatt Cemetery is located in Mastens Corner, DE. It is 2500 ft south of RT 58 and 750 ft east of RT 280, left side of dirt lane.

Joseph Bernard and Louisa Wyatt had the following children:

2 i. Blanche² Bernard was born in Delaware Oct 1891. Blanche died 1960 in Delaware, at 68 years of age. She married Wilbert Sherwood in Delaware, Aft 1910. In the 1910 Census, she is single and living at home.

Wilbert was born in Delaware 28 Apr 1888. Wilbert was the son of David Sherwood and Ida. Wilbert died May 1970 in Felton, Kent County, DE, at 82 years of age.⁽⁷⁾ (See Wilbert Sherwood for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Rebecca E. Bernard was born in Delaware Mar 1894. She married twice. She married Emory Harris. She married Edward Armstrong Jr in Harrington, Kent County, DE, 2 Jan 1911. (See Edward Armstrong Jr for the continuation of this line.) Her children lived with her sister, Rachel, after her divorce.

4 iii. Louise Bernard was born in Delaware Oct 1895. Louise died 1962 in Delaware, at 66 years of age.⁽⁸⁾ She married Samuel W. Sherwood in Delaware, Abt 1915. Samuel was born in Delaware 1 Jan 1896. Samuel was the son of David Sherwood and Ida. Samuel died 19 Feb 1980 in Felton, Kent County, DE, at 84 years of age.⁽⁹⁾ Samuel was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Felton, Kent County, DE.⁽¹⁰⁾ The family lived on Lombard Street. 7 vi. Rachel Bernard was born in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE 24 January 1902. Rachel died September 1982 in Harrington, Kent County, DE, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred September 1982 in Masten's Corner, Kent County, DE, Hopkins Cemetery. She married Frederick Henry Brown in Felton, Kent County, DE, 2 January 1920. Frederick was born in Harrington, Kent County, DE 3 January 1899.⁽¹²⁾ Frederick was the son of Frederick O. Brown and Martha Ellen Bradley. Frederick died 2 April 1934 in Felton, Kent County, DE, at 35 years of age.⁽¹³⁾ Died of Tuberculosis.

He worked as an assistant for Mr. Harrington who owned the grist mill. He later worked for the railroad, but it wasn't too long before he returned to work for Mr. Harrington.
